I have some geneology info - I think Ray Bacak has the same stuff - but I will try to send it to you electronically when I get the chance.

The summary is ... (Grandpa Joe) Matocha was born, in Fayette County, to Josephine and Josef Matocha in August 1894. Josef was born in Bohemia, Czech Republic and Josephine was born in 1876 in Texas. Josef's parents were Johann Matocha and Katerine Zbranek. They were both born in Hovezi, Moravia, Czech Republic in 1868 - this is the mountainous area where most Texas - Czechs come from. It is also where the museum housing the Matocha Farm is located. Johann's brothers descendents still live in that area and I have been in contact with one of them.
