A miscellaneous shower honoring Ann Heimann, bride-elect of Ryan Matocha, was held Saturday morning, Nov. 8 at the home of Diane Barger. Hostesses were Barger, Dawn Schroedter, Gloria Nordeen and Debbie Hamman.

A party honoring Ann Heimann and Ryan Matocha was held at noon, Sunday, Oct. 19, at the home of Mary Ann and John Kubes of East Bernard. Aunts, uncles and friends of the family hosted the fall themed party held outside on the Kubes' tree-shaded patio area. Fall arrangements and tablecloths were placed on the tables.

Downers Grove residents Diane Dechene, Marie Lynch, Jaclyn Patterson, Joseph Picchetti, Kendra Rovens and Jordan Thornquist made the dean's list for the spring semester at Marquette University.
